5th annual meeting of the ModStatSAP network

5th annual meeting of the ModStatSAP network

The 5th annual meeting of the ModStatSAP network (Modélisation et Statistique en Santé des Animaux et des Plantes - Modelling and Statistics in Animal and Plant Health) brought together some forty modellers and statisticians from different scientific departments of INRA and other research centres: ANSES, IFREMER, CIRAD, etc. on March 22nd in Oniris, Nantes.

This event allowed scientists to exchange on statistical and mathematical modelling in plant and animal health. Interactions between several development and animation paths were thus stimulated.

UMR BIOEPAR was particularly involved in the organization of the day with the participation of Pauline Ezanno, INRA Research Director, member of the scientific committee of the network and facilitator for the SA (Animal Health) department of INRA.

Among the speakers of the day :

  • Amaury Lambert, researcher at the laboratory of probability and random models at the University of Paris 6 (Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology, Collège de France & Laboratoire de Probabilités et Modèles Aléatoire) presented his research results on statistical models based on the genealogy of species". From individual-based population models to lineage-based models of phylogenies"
