• Skills and competences

I obtained my Ph.D. in Microbiology in 2009 at Agrocampus Ouest, studying bacterial-fungal interactions in the wheat rhizosphere. As a post-doctoral fellow at the University College Cork, I investigated the role of bacterial secretion systems in the rhizosphere competence of beneficial Pseudomonas strains. Since 2012, I worked as an INRAE scientist in Angers. My research focuses on the biological and ecological processes involved in the assembly of the seed microbiota and the impact of these seed-associated microbial assemblages on plant fitness at the early stage of its development.
