MITOWAVE Regional Science Challenge (2018-2021)

The MITOWAVE scientific challenge investigates the biological effect of electromagnetic fields (EMF) on living cells.

The MITOWAVE scientific project studies the biological effect of electromagnetic fields (EMF) on living cells.
It is being carried out in collaboration with the Institut Pascal in Clermont-Fd as part of the joint BioEM (Bioelectromagnetism) laboratory that the STREMHO team joined in 2019.
It comprises two parts, one devoted to the biological effects of EMFs on human cells and the other on plants. These two actions are coordinated respectively by Professor Vincent Procaccio (CHU d'Anger) and Professor Alain Vian (IRHS, University of Angers).
