Professor - Angers University

Research skills
My research theme is the study of plant/environment interactions at the molecular, biochemical and whole plant scales.I am particularly interested in molecular aspects (expression of specific genes, ROS metabolism - epigenetic marks) related to plant development, especially the regulation of bud break. I also study the biological effects of very high frequency electromagnetic radiation on plant development, in collaboration with the Pascal Institute of Clermont-Ferrand and the CEA/DAM of Gramat.
I am currently
- Deputy Director of the EGAAL doctoral school for the Angers site https://ed-egaal.doctorat-bretagneloire.fr/
- Co-responsible (for the plant part) of the regional scientific bet MITOWAVE, led by Pr V. Procaccio (CHU of Angers)
- Co-leader (for the "plant" part) of the DEFI-Ondes project (SNCF network / Pascal Institute / INRAE of Clermont-Fd / IRHS of Angers)
- STREMHO coordinator of the joint laboratory BioEM (CEA-DAM Gramat, Institut Pascal)
- Responsible for the post-doc "Plants" (A. Porcher) of the SNCF DEFI-Ondes project
- Member of the National Council of Universities (68th section)
- Member of the Council of the Faculty of Sciences of Angers
