Campylomic

Campylomic : One Health Genomics of Campylobacter jejuni

Comparison of stability study of Campylobacter jejuni genotypes of human and food isolates

The kick-off meeting of the CampylOmic project was held in Dudelange, Luxembourg on June 27th in the new premises of the Luxembourg National Health Laboratory (LNS). The CampylOmic project aims to study the transmission of Campylobacter pathogens at the scale of a country. It aims to develop and use new methods for the traceability of this food bacterium from genomic, ecological and phenotypic data on isolates collected in the last 15 years in Luxembourg or new isolates collected from wild birds.

It is coordinated by Dr. Catherine Ragimbeau at the LNS of Luxembourg. Its multidisciplinarity will be ensured by the LNS, the LIST-ERIN of Luxembourg, the University of Luxembourg, the University of Helsinki and UMR Secalim in Nantes. Dr. Odile Tresse of the Secalim Unit is notably involved in the coordination of WP1 and the co-supervision of a co-supervision thesis between Oniris and the University of Luxembourg.
